About Us

We’re all about courts and components

Game Courts of Michigan is the premier provider of indoor and outdoor sport surfaces, components and accessories. From design through installation, we serve residential and commercial clients, schools, faith-based organizations, municipalities, and employers building athletic facilities for employees.

Our courts resist weather, sun, and tens of thousands of footsteps and bouncing balls. They’re also orthopedically engineered to reduce stress and injuries.

Our Chief Athletic Officer, Noah Teicher, is a native of Huntington Woods and graduate of the University of Michigan. He, his wife, and three children are sports enthusiasts, whether they’re watching pro teams or playing a game.

Ivan Katz, Chief of Sports Entertainment, created Game Courts of Michigan in 2005 as an offshoot of Great Lakes Landscape Design.  In the landscaping business more than 20 years, Katz saw residential clients increasingly wanting to turn their yards into active family living spaces.  Families want to advance their kids’ athletic endeavors, support a healthy lifestyle, and have the big backyard rematch among family and friends.  A few clients had turned to him for help, after having less-than-ideal experiences with other sports companies.

With modular sports surfaces and synthetic gym flooring, Game Courts of Michigan uses materials, components and accessories that offer:

  • Extreme durability
  • Low maintenance
  • Vibrant colors, custom designs, and logo services
  • Orthopedic and safety benefits
